Outdoor Expeditions

Andrew J Martin
Andrew Martin is a visionary leader, author, and founder of The Hearts of the Father Outdoor Expeditions—a faith-driven movement restoring the next generation through the restoration of manhood and identity.
From his beginnings as a mentor and outdoor guide, Andrew has built a legacy that reaches across state lines, mentoring boys from hard places and calling men back to their rightful role as fathers, protectors, and leaders.

As a son of both faith and experience, Andrew’s calling was forged through his own story of adoption and redemption. His conviction is simple but powerful: strong men build strong families, and strong families build strong communities.
What began with a single tent and a handful of boys in Texas has grown into a brotherhood impacting over 1,100 boys through rugged outdoor mentorship, biblical teaching, and real-world examples of grit.
Through The Hearts of the Father Outdoor Expeditions, Andrew has created a model where boys learn discipline through adventure, identity through responsibility, and belonging through brotherhood.
His message—rooted in faith and forged in the outdoors—is clear: manhood and Christlikeness are not just related; they’re inseparable.

Now based in Northwest Arkansas, Andrew continues to build partnerships with churches, foster agencies, and civic leaders to ensure that every boy—regardless of his past—finds a place to belong and a man to follow. Under his leadership, The Hearts of the Father has become more than a nonprofit; it’s a movement of restoration, vision, and legacy.

As the author of Hidden Love, Andrew shares his journey of adoption and faith, offering hope to families and young men alike. Whether speaking from a pulpit, sitting by a campfire, or guiding a team through the wilderness, his life carries a single message: the world changes when men stand up, take responsibility, and lead with heart.
