The Hearts of the Father Outdoor Expeditions creates outdoor experiences for boys from foster care, adoption, and hard places.

Through camping, fishing, hiking, outdoor challenges, practical skills, and time around the campfire, we give boys opportunities to step away from everyday pressures, experience something new, build relationships, and simply enjoy being a kid.

For more than a decade, HOTF has brought boys and trusted adults together in the outdoors—creating moments of belonging, encouragement, challenge, laughter, and connection.

We believe a weekend in the woods won't solve every problem a boy faces. But we also believe a fish caught, a difficult trail completed, a meal cooked over a fire, an encouraging word from a trusted adult, or simply knowing someone showed up can become a memory he carries for years.
